Warning: This script is not meant for the faint of heart. It
expects properly formatted XYZ or PDB files, or else the conversion programs
will fail to do their job. ORTEP will produce correct XYZ files if you do
"Write XYZ File". Of course, this is a rough solution to the problem.
POV-Chem 1.00 produces POV-Ray files that can not be used with POV-Ray
version 3.5 or above, unless the identifier #version 3.1 is
specified at the top of the pov-file.
Use the browse button to select the XYZ of PDB file you want to use
as the input file, then push the process button. This will
start the conversion of the input file to the resulting POV-Ray code.
Many errors can occurs. These will be shown to you. Interpretation of the
errors is the task for the user. Ask your local babel or
povchem guru for more information or become one yourself.
