POV-it

Turn your molecules into beautiful graphics

How to use it:

Warning: This script is not meant for the faint of heart. It expects properly formatted XYZ or PDB files, or else the conversion programs will fail to do their job. ORTEP will produce correct XYZ files if you do "Write XYZ File". Of course, this is a rough solution to the problem. POV-Chem 1.00 produces POV-Ray files that can not be used with POV-Ray version 3.5 or above, unless the identifier #version 3.1 is specified at the top of the pov-file.

Use the browse button to select the XYZ of PDB file you want to use as the input file, then push the process button. This will start the conversion of the input file to the resulting POV-Ray code. Many errors can occurs. These will be shown to you. Interpretation of the errors is the task for the user. Ask your local babel or povchem guru for more information or become one yourself.
